Each piece is hand-crafted in my workshop in Gironde. From throwing to glazing, every step is important in creating unique objects designed to accompany your daily life.
The earth
It all begins with the choice of clay, prepared and kneaded to give it suppleness and homogeneity.
Filming
On the wheel, form is born under the hands. Every gesture counts to create the balance of the piece.
Drying
The pieces dry slowly in the open air before being ready for the first firing.
The first firing
A first firing at 980°C transforms the clay into ceramic and prepares the piece to receive the glaze.
Enamelling
The glazes are applied using the dipping technique or with a brush, making each piece unique in its nuances and textures.
The last firing
Once glazed, the creations undergo a second firing at 1260 °C for several hours, to melt the enamel and make the clay non-porous.
